Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
This team gets worse as the season progresses, APPsolutely terrible! It seems that way. If this was a 3rd or 4th year coaching situation there isn't a single BCS AD who wouldn't fire our coach. I remember thinking we'd made a mistake hiring Sat during his first season. But, you could see improvemen...

I must say I'm happy to see on espn they could give a shit about the down and distance when we have the ball. Do you think that's a slight or a mercy decision?

Defense is looking better. Loggains needs to decide if he wants to be a head coach or offensive coordinator, operating in both roles is not working.

Re: Stink discussion
Those of you talking about staying home because of the weather are literally model "fair weather fans." Didn't you guys go to school in Boone for goodness sake? You can't get on your soap box confessing your love for App State and App State Football if you puss out on this game. We're talking about ...

Re: Mid-season halfway point grade?
It is too early to tell. However, on offense, 90 plus grind it out drives, converting on 3rd and longs, 4th and short and scoring in the red zone are all qualities missing last year. Defense; hard hitting, wrapping up on tackles and pressuring the opposing QB not to mention interceptions, again, qua...

Re: Oreg St at 3:30pm - Discussion
I wasn't able to be at the game; sold all 4 of my tickets to support the wife at her 40 year reunion. I did watch the game twice or at least most of it twice. Our QB is definitely not our problem; he, whoever he is, is throwing to a weak group of WRs, mostly from a consistency standpoint. Some of th...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
ESPN shows Boise -16.5 I think that says more about how they see us than how strong they think Boise is. We will have had 2 weeks to recover and to fix mistakes; I think that's a tough spread for Boise to cover. I hope it is anyway. Probably depends on the health of our 1 & 2 QBs along with some cr...

Re: Week 4 games
Watching UNCC-Rice game and I'm going to say what probably everyone on the board already knows, Charlotte sucks. The new coach should help long term but bless their hearts they are not good and I can't see them getting better anytime soon. Soooo happy we beat them in the opener. So happy we beat a ...

2 Oregan State tickets and a parking pass for sale
I have two tickets for sale in Section 205, Row CC, seats 20 & 21 plus a parking pass. Parking pass is in the Blue Ridge lot located just above the West side entrance. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Oregon State - Looking for 4
I know it's a long shot but I figured I'd ask. My friend accidentally booked an Airbnb for that weekend instead of Coastal  Sadly, I have 4 tickets together in Section 205 and a Blue Ridge Parking lot pass if anyone is interested. I absolutely hate having to do this but we can't make the game...

Re: Staff Reductions Coming To ADs
This topic is making my head hurt! I find myself less and less interested in anything college sports related these days. I really think all of this is killing the golden goose for athletes; the opportunity to earn a 4 year degree, potentially changing the course of their lives. Very few of these yo...

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45450737/college-football-top-25-plays-2000 Fantastic day, one of the best of my life. So lucky to be at the game. We took over downtown Ann Arbor the night before the game. I remember a Michigan fan saying, while trying to get a table at a pub, "whe...

Re: Private Equity in College Athletics
The possibility of private equity in college athletics is, in my opinion, way worse than the portal, NIL or the House Settlement. These aren't donations. These would with anticipation of an ROI. And that ROI won't be trophies. Completely agree with you. Hard to believe anything worse than the NIL o...

lot of great memories in this thread, especially Sollecitos. I'm often wrong but I remember the Shell dogs as 4 for a dollar. Uh, oh ..the tall tale stories get larger every time they are told. Tomorrow, it will be 10 dogs for a dollar..just kidding 🤣🤣🤣. I may have missed that place or it was gone ...

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing
When i started at App the restaurant occupying the space where the Red Onion resides today was a pizza place. The worst pizza I've ever had at a restaurant. Red Onion was a nice upgrade. It is sad to see it go. Loved the food, especially the fried zucchini strips appetizer. Also, it's where I met my...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
After over 40 years of Yosef donations and season tickets my wife and I have decided to no longer contribute or buy season tickets. Don’t believe in the new system and not going to support something we don’t believe in. We're not to that point yet but I'd be lying if I said College Football gives m...
