We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: WHAT A DAY --- SEE #5
https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45450737/college-football-top-25-plays-2000 Fantastic day, one of the best of my life. So lucky to be at the game. We took over downtown Ann Arbor the night before the game. I remember a Michigan fan saying, while trying to get a table at a pub, "whe...

Re: Private Equity in College Athletics
The possibility of private equity in college athletics is, in my opinion, way worse than the portal, NIL or the House Settlement. These aren't donations. These would with anticipation of an ROI. And that ROI won't be trophies. Completely agree with you. Hard to believe anything worse than the NIL o...

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing
lot of great memories in this thread, especially Sollecitos. I'm often wrong but I remember the Shell dogs as 4 for a dollar. Uh, oh ..the tall tale stories get larger every time they are told. Tomorrow, it will be 10 dogs for a dollar..just kidding 🤣🤣🤣. I may have missed that place or it was gone ...

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing
When i started at App the restaurant occupying the space where the Red Onion resides today was a pizza place. The worst pizza I've ever had at a restaurant. Red Onion was a nice upgrade. It is sad to see it go. Loved the food, especially the fried zucchini strips appetizer. Also, it's where I met my...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
After over 40 years of Yosef donations and season tickets my wife and I have decided to no longer contribute or buy season tickets. Don’t believe in the new system and not going to support something we don’t believe in. We're not to that point yet but I'd be lying if I said College Football gives m...

Re: Traditions, rivalries, etc.
Rivalries for the fans will not change and that's what most of us see but the hate that drives player performance in those rivalry games can't help but change. It won't be the same for guys who, in the past, might have lined up against the same guy for 4 years. It's that familiarity and strong perso...

Re: App Transfer Portal 2025 - OUT
I keep coming on here to see if any new players are transferring out only to read post after post grousing about the Portal and NIL. So, I'll throw in my two cents. Most of these kids are either looking for more playing time or more dollars. I have never held it against a kid for leaving a program h...

Re: Clark
Ummm, maybe we should agree that people here feel strongly about Coach Clark and we all wish him the best and everyone here wins if we just move forward? I don’t believe everyone on here wishes him the best. Some of these posters seem act like he personally hurt them. Why would anyone not wish him ...

Re: Clawson steps down at WF
"Clawson is regarded as the school's best modern coach. He leaves with a record of 67-69, the best winning percentage of any Wake Forest football coach since the school joined the ACC in 1953. He led Wake Forest to seven of the 17 bowl games in school history and five of the school's 11 total bowl ...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
I don't think Neal Brown will be our next coach. I may be nuts but I believe our target is coaching this weekend. If so, we may know our new coach by tomorrow. It's going to cost us some $$$$s

Re: Pete Thamel- App State Fires Shawn Clark
Totally agree with this. I gotta be honest I didn’t think he was getting the job done. But I can’t celebrate him getting fired. I appreciate the job he did. It’s an understatement to say he had to endure some external challenges and he always did it with class. It’s the right choice but consider me ...

Re: MBB at Wake Forest, NIT 1st round, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 8:00 p.m., ESPN+, LJVM, Winston-Salem, 421 Warfare
Tough game last night. Their size was difficult for us, and the free throws (31 to 8) did certainly make a difference in my opinion. My wife and I had the misfortune to be seated around the most obnoxious and rude fans I have been around at any basketball game I have ever attended. We both ignored ...

Re: MBB at Wake Forest, NIT 1st round, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 8:00 p.m., ESPN+, LJVM, Winston-Salem, 421 Warfare
I was at the game last night sitting with a friend who's a Wake grad, he was able to get us great seats which I really appreciated. However, to my right I had a a father and son who were the absolute nastiest fans I've ever had the displeasure to sit near. I think they were both hammered though the ...

Re: Listen To The Players…
How about letting the current season play out and assess when it is finished, just a thought. SC first 2 seasons were good and first half of last season was great...then the injury bug hit and the wheels fell off. I think the program is fine and in good shape. Hope we don't turn in to a program tha...
