Re: Boise Tailgate
Next time we go to Lafayette, yall need to just walk through the tailgating lots wearing App gear. Cajun fans are the best, bar none, at inviting opposing teams fans to their tailgates to sample their jambalaya and hospitality. And Granddad has been stirring the cauldron of jambalaya for a day and ...

Re: QB depth chart for Boise
Good analysis. I was at the SoMiss game. It seemed to me that the stuff that happened was 3 parts bad luck and 2 parts bad choices. Especially that interception/fumble (a interble??) where Dobinion caught it and it bounced up into the DBs hands. If Swann had theown it on Dobinions other side that wo...

Re: QB AJ Swann Named Week 1 OFF POW
Having seen exactly one game from Swann and comparing it to all games I saw of Aguilar (almost all of them in person), my take is that Swann is better. No forced throws; no 50/50 balls. He is just a better field general. The App’s future is bright. So. Miss. will be a good test. If we are good enoug...

Re: ODU - discussion and game
As to the refs, yeah I’m getting tired of the calls not matching what I see myself. I was listening to 97.3 on headphones at the game. The announcers were as befuddled as I was about some calls and no-calls. On one ODU scramble play, there was either offensive holding or illegal man downfield. Nothi...

Re: ODU - discussion and game
I thought the ODU game was App’s best game of the year on all three sides of the ball. ODU had zero kick return and punt return yards. Zero. And our red zone defense was stout. Yards gained on the other end of the field are meaningless really. And we held a good offense to 3 points in the second hal...

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
A looooongg time ago but the Wofford game in 2008 on Halloween was a hot start. If I recall the Halloween game correctly, we were down 14-0 and then Armanti took over. Just sayin. App traded TD's with Wofford until pulling away big time in the second quarter. I’ve been to a lot of App games but tha...

I was there in the nose bleed seats and behind the UL bench. Turning point of game, IMO, was when Abson came out and App doubled Hosana #34. Its like they game planned for Abson but no further. So when Abson sat, they looked lost. Plus Coach Marlin appeared very thin skinned and let the Wheres Nemo ...

Re: Cure bowl vs Miami (OH)
The amazing thing was that Joey threw the ball like it was a calm sunny day. No idea how he did that. Miamis QB had a hard time holding onto the ball. Does Aguilar have large hands? That could explain why he found it easier to hold onto the ball. Anyone know?

Clark is the coach and needs to be the coach next season. Topics like this need to die Nope You gonna want to fire a coach any time we don’t play in the CCG? Any coach? Since Clark arrived we’ve gone from class of the conference to just another team. You can’t look past the facts. I could not disag...
