We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

What's the weather going to be like?
I'm boarding a red-eye in a few hours and will be in Charlotte in the morning. What's the weather situation for my ride up 321 tomorrow early afternoon?

Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
As an Oregon resident and Yosef Club member, I'm very pleased to see two games on the schedule within a 6 hours drive. The two games against Idaho didn't have many App fans but we had lots of folks at Wyoming. I had great experiences at both locations. The basketball game in Corvallis was fun too. H...

I had so much fun at the basketball game in Corvallis last year. Can't wait to make the short drive down I-5 to see the Mountaineers play!

First home game since 2009!
Well folks. I'm turning 50 this year and needed to do something big, so I'm coming to Boone for the JMU game! It will be my first home game since 2009. My fellow App-spouse and I bringing our 14 year old to see his first ever App St. home game (4th ever App football game). Since my last home game, I...

Heck yes! I'll make the 6.5 hr drive from Portland!
When you get to the Oregon/Idaho border, there is an Ore-Ida processing plant. That's when it hits you. "Ore-Ida, hmmm, like Oregon and Idaho." I love me some Crispy Crowns.

Re: Off Season Topic - Best/Worst Road Game Experiences
Best: National Championship games, Wyoming '23 (except for the L) Worst: U of Florida Regarding the Stink, I've been to Statesboro for 6 App games or so. I've even sat in the Eagles Nest in 2006 (William Mayfield down the middle!) while wearing my App gear as a guest of a judge from Augusta. I figur...

You can play both x box and PlayStation games on the PC without their consoles.
However, the real OGs remember the Techmo Bowl game with App. I still remember the dude who programmed it. He's on this board sometimes. Thanks Rob. That one was loads of fun!

Re: Freshman Admission rates 2023 across conferences
Acceptance rate is a nothing-burger that people think presents them as being a better or smarter place. Standardized tests like the SAT/ACT are not equitable and should not be used to predict potential success in college. I want my university to focus on the students that stand to benefit from a col...

Re: Oregon State 10:00 pm TIP
Had a great time at the game last night. Looks like I even made it on TV a few times with my App State scarf. Sat with some of the players parents which was especially fun. I want to thank any parents that might see this for sharing their kids with us. These aren't mindless automatons, but real peop...

I know of at least five App folks who are going (four in my group). Hoping for the best, but we'll cheers on our men either way! It'll be my first App basketball game in person since we beat Nebraska in Varsity on December 1,1993! Hi hi yikas!

Re: Anyone going to game in Corvallis?
Today I learned again for the 1000th time what it means to be in the App State community. Thanks for the suggestion appgrad2010. There's no way my wife can say "no" now, right? The kiddo has been indoctrinated by App State football for a while with two games in Idaho and one in Wyoming. Now its time...

Anyone going to game in Corvallis?
Hiya friends. Anybody making the trip to see Apps play the Beavers? Would I be the only App there?
here's a haiku
Beavers dam the court,
Appalachian flows with skill,
Hoops battle fierce tides.
Cheers!

We're PDX to Denver on Thursday, then hotel in Ft. Collins for Friday and Saturday. Back to Denver and Portland on Sunday. We're doing the Denver Art Museum and Wings Over the Rockies on Friday before driving to Ft. Collins. I've never seen a B-52 or a B-1 Lancer in person. The Lowry beer garden ne...

For the record, Wyoming played against Portland State (FCS) and not Prairie State. That Portland State team just won over an NAIA team 91-0.
