Given we are playing in Idaho, maybe we should call Uncle Rico?
He can throw a pigskin over them mountains.

It would be nice to find the next Armanti Edwards, a left-handed mobile quarterback. What made Edwards so elusive was the fact that his blind side was on the wrong side of the field. Defenses were not as prepared for that.
They broke the mold.

Re: So Miss discussion

The lack of memory and football knowledge in this thread is impressive. 1. That wasn’t the Southern Miss teams of the past last night. That was quite literally the Marshall team- coach, players, and all- that won the SBC and beat App last year. They are a good team. 2. First year head coaches almos...

Re: So Miss discussion

When your roster is a revolving door expect poor execution. Its not like the good old days when guys played with each other enough to know what the other was doing. Now that’s not stopping fumbles but it does stop some interceptions and it must certainly helps every other aspect of the game. Either ...

We need to get into a higher paying tv conference. Sun belt is still very low paying and we bring eyeballs and brand recognition.

If we got the $7MM/year that ecu does it would go a long way
Poor performance and location working against higher paying conference affiliation.

Re: So Miss discussion

All of our goals are in front of us. Please continue to accept mediocrity while we raise ticket prices, beg to be compared to the top 5 G5’s, and deliver a D- gameday experience by putting off-brand bandaids on problems. Remember when we wouldn’t stand for this a year ago?! The irony is Staggering ...

It’s funny how Clark was unacceptable but this is ok.
Far from ok, it sucks. That’s where we are in NIL and transfer football.

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

I know it's early but I'm starting to worry about Coach. The players seem more interested in seeking the limelight then they are in playing good fundamental football. Way too many personal foul's, not protecting the ball, and trying to thread the football where it doesn't belong. They're playing fo...

The drops and fumbles are very concerning. But I’m becoming concerned with our QBs timing, the throws continue to be half a second slow as he goes through his reads.

Our secondary will get exploited by above average QBs.
Add in receivers can’t catch. Bad combination.

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

I’m fascinated by some of the takes in this thread. I’m not happy about the game, but we DID win! Do yall watch other football? You know the other team practices and schemes and everything, right? You know teams usually take a season to get on track with a new coaching staff, right? I mean, Nick Sa...
