Re: Indoor facility. Sofield is down.
To be building this says that App State is all in on football and has some high expectations.

Re: House of Reps bill on NCAA issues
I'm not sure why athletes can't be employees..... I was an employee of the school as a student. I went to class as a student and worked at Legends as an employee. I think making them employees opens the door to a player filing a lawsuit saying that he shouldn’t be required to attend class as a stud...

Re: Staff Reductions Coming To ADs
I came from a police department that asked certain folks to do everything. It burned them out. I took a paycut to go to a sheriff's office where I did one specific thing for less money. My life is SOOOOOOO much better now and the Sheriff's office knows that the job Im doing will be done right becaus...

Re: Preseason Projections
We just did a 180 with what we had been doing for the past few years. We got a young and hungry coach who has NFL experience. He brought in many hungry asst coaches with experience from all over college and the NFL. We brought in QBs from SEC schools. We brought in new lineman. Everything that wasn'...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Trying not to make this a political statement as I favor neither, but I fear any action by this administration. This administration seems to favor a handgrenade over a firecracker. What we really need is for college presidents to grow a pair. Hand grenades get the job done. Not for the weak of hear...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Per South Carolina 24/7 (so you can trust it): South Carolina has five former players who are scheduled to visit Appalachian State this weekend. QB Dante Reno, DB Emory Floyd, OL Kam Pringle and the Porter brothers. They're all scheduled to visit there. Porter brothers are DL and LB for reference. ...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
I'm still pulling for App State football and In still watching. I won't be giving a bunch of money though. I don't long for the days of FCS. I also don't long for the days of playing in some random bowl. I never want to go back to playing Wofford, Citadel, or Samford..... Things change and we adapt....

One thing NIL/portal will do is keep school records intact. With the players transferring left and right most holding school records now, probably won't see them beat.
