I would take losing this game if we could just win at JMU this season. We owe them one. But I hope Nate runs for 200 today!

We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: TX St discussion
1. If our stacked RB room and the 4 guys ahead are hurt or don’t want to fight for every yard anymore, put the Freshman out there. We need an energy/motivation change in our running game. <105 yds total over 2 conference games is a losing gameplan. 2. I just want to be able to make subpar opposing Q...

Re: Vent Here
A few thoughts: -We came out flat and unmotivated from the very first snap. We had the same defensive problems we had at JMU (and prior), as if changes had not been made. Except for that early pick, we made their QB look elite (he has not been). -TXST gameplan was to come out and play fiery aggressi...

Re: Group of Five Guys Podcast - Shawn Clark
I haven't listened to this one yet but I look forward to it. I assume this isn't the same group who did the G5 podcast previously (CUSA guys). I give those guys credit for trying but their CUSA (and AAC) bias made it hard to listen to. Funny enough I think this Gof5G podcast group started with a fe...

Re: UNC game discussion
After going through their 2-deep - some key battles we need to win will be the corner+safety covering Josh Downs — who seems to operate out of the slot and outside as well. Also, both of their DE’s are big dudes, if our tackles can gives Chase time and we can run inside, we’ll give them hell. I trus...

Re: Mountain Brew - App beer
I think this deal will be better for us long term than partnering with amb or booneshine. Would be great to see 4-6 packs available across the state and not just in boone

Re: UNC game discussion
If we are able to run consistently, we can absolutely beat them. They will stack the box and force us to throw to our new receivers.

App Athletics launches new App
Saw the tweet this afternoon. Downloaded - looks like an app to keep up with all App State sports, has schedules/news/updates and even a social media feed. Pretty cool update

Re: AP Preseason Poll Released
Surprised to see Wake Forest ranked this high considering the injury to their QB. I wonder if the poll voting was done prior to his injury announcement. Usually voting is open for a week or so before they announced it so they indeed opened voting before the news. Perhaps they would have been 18-20 ...

Re: Marshall fans already poking the bear
Marshall coming to the belt has a lot of older App fans fired up. They remember. I expect we will travel heavy for that one Wk 10. Speaking of Marshall, anyone see Rand. Moss play at KBS in 1996?
