That seems to be a closely guarded secret. The team has been hit by flu-like symptoms lately (see Moronta and Chirico), but I suspect Steensma’s issues are more arm fatigue related. Just a hunch on my part.

Midweek games are important. Experts predict that our conference will send four to six teams to the NCAA playoffs. If we can play ourselves into the top six, we’re in the conversation.

We used Everett, Beaty and Smith yesterday after the score got to 9-1. I fail to see how that is burning your best pitchers.

I’d like to have Everett today but he hasn’t been a world beater.

Our Friday night starter last pitched on Saturday and today is Thursday, so we’re looking at a two-day difference in his routine. Personally I’m OK with him going on four-days rest, but a lot of college coaches would rather not.

The wind is playing tricks on that outfield camera. The graphics box is missing but I’m guessing it’ll be back soon. Otherwise I can be critical of our production. Our play-by-play guy is first rate.
