They've had too many open looks from three. That is the weakness of this defense.

Re: FB vs the Thundering Turds, Sat at 2:30
I get that things look bleak and we got our tails handed to us Saturday, but to act like we are getting blown out every week is a bit ridiculous. We have been in every game this year except for Boise State and JMU. There have been a couple of great, several good and too many bad moments. Our point ...

Re: 20 years later - 2005 Nat Champs
So much excitement and joy while going on that run in 2005. It felt like a massive weight was lifted off the entire program after being the best program not to win a championship for many years. Richie inspired everyone and gave us hope before Murrell and Hunter made one of the most iconic plays in ...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
I am realizing where a lot of the heat on Loggains is coming. People are quickly turning on him not wanting to give him a full chance for one reason. He is not cowing down to donors by giving them special treatment and opening practices up to everyone. People need to get over their egos and wait to...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
Any players that Drink might have signed at App would be gone now. Since he left we had Covid, a ridiculous extra year for players, a transfer portal out of control, NIL that he had nothing to do with, a once in a lifetime weather disaster in the High Country, etc. He was never invested and reaped ...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
Drinkwitz was a bad hire. He won all those games at the expense of our players and program and left a record that was unsustainable. Not to mention the players that Drinkwitz took with him. Clark tried to fix the mess that Drinkwitz made, and it got him fired. Loggains is doing the best with the me...

We fired a coach with a similar resume to those, and so far have gotten worse results. I'm not saying a change wasn't needed, but I believe we all expected to see some sort of improvement by this point in the season.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 12:57 pmSo, all those teams, except JMU, have been, uh, average

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
So his buyout is $1.5M. If our average ticket price is around $65 when you factor in season ticket per game rates then we'd only need to see a drop of around 3,850 tickets sold per game for six home games to equal that $1.5M total. That doesn't even factor in concessions and merch sold during the ga...

Interesting if they were to act and leave https://www.outkick.com/sports/usc-michigan-consider-nuclear-option-leave-big-ten-private-equity-investment-fight USC and UM could both be viable outside of a conference, based on their brand strength, financial position and donor base. And I applaud both s...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
This JMU team isn't as good as two years ago and probably only slightly better than last year, the SBC is really down this year. However this App team, especially in the trenches is much worse. A win tomorrow would be the most shocking victory since Texas A&M. I was actually pretty confident we'd g...

Re: MBB: OSU 6:30pm
Fouls were 6-5 in our favor when we had a 25-15 lead. Fouls went 8-1 in OSU's favor the rest of the half. Fouls are now 19-10 in OSU's favor giving them 14 more FT attempts. We typically don't foul much.

Re: MBB: OSU 6:30pm
Classic scoring drought for Apps. Fouls really fueled the run for the Buckeye's though. Hard to say if they're legit since Big + is near impossible to get.

A dominant win over a D1 school was a welcome site. Central might be down this year but Moton usually puts a solid squad on the floor.

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I think it goes back to the fundamental problem that is the transfer portal. There is no more loyalty or commitment in college football. Everyone knows if things go bad, they can always transfer somewhere else next year. How many of our players (or coaches) even care about the rivalry with GSU? It'...

It will also be interesting to see if we come to play next week , and the week after. Can the staff hold the team together to at least be respectable? This is my biggest concern as well. I understand injuries and such, but the lack of effort and enthusiasm is very concerning. Just curious, which pl...

No reason CMU should beat us this badly. They don't have more history and shouldn't have as many resources.
