We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Just so people understand what reallocating existing funds means, potentially: cutting sports, cutting staff, reducing scholarships from teams that arent football and basketball, reducing budgets (both for teams and operationally), putting construction projects on hold, among other things that I'm ...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

Recruiting and developing talent is the responsibility of the staff , ultimately the HC. I have no idea what the ceiling is given all of the circumstances but I saw a step backwards in ‘25. ‘24 was going to be tough to replicate. Banks and Steensma alone were good for a handful of wins. But, this y...

More and more it's about money , and yes a growing part of the job.
Kermit is very good at it too, but we still lag far behind most of the conference in budget and facilities.

Re: Doeren Scared of App State?

NC State sees no value in playing Appalachian which shows the delusional level that NC State has as a national football power. A loss to Appalachian would be bad for their program nationally, but I do not see NC State ever having a shot at a national championship in football. I believe Appalachian ...

That is the new reality. Talent evaluation is more important than ever.
Talent evaluation was the downfall of Clark's staff. Too many guys never panned out.

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates

I’m told that a handful of Yosef Club season ticket holders have checked out due to the “pay for play” situation. I’m hanging in perhaps being hopeful that a meaningful resolution can be reached. That’s now , subject to change of course. I know of some that have, and many more that are in the same ...

Regardless of who your team is, I think that we can all agree that Brad Marchand is a complete douchebag.
Hell yeah! #1 douchebag followed by Wilson
100% I loved the Canes X account trolling Wilson for his mocking of the Storm Surge.

It's time to close this thing out!

5-6 season will do that.
This is true, but I'm also hearing/seeing more and more people say the current Portal and NIL setup is pushing them away. It might not be a huge portion but I guarantee it has some impact on ticket sales.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

We're a dropped ball in CF away from winning the series. USA isn't very good, but it's at least a step in the right direction. We have to win a minimum of two if not three next weekend to have any chance of making some noise in Montgomery.

Injuries are part of the game , everyone has them, good teams overcome. We aren’t very good.
I agree but this year has been extraordinarily bad for injuries. Very few teams have enough depth to overcome those sort of losses.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

Calling for a coaching change after a bad finish to this season? I think the staff needs to and will have to revisit their approach on some things, but calling for a coaching change is a bit much right now. They've barely had enough healthy players to field a team at times this season. Maybe all tha...

Re: Jon Gruden gets App State package

Before the inception of Yosef’s locker, official team gear came out of the athletic department budget and wasn’t made available to retailers to purchase. That isn't the fault of the athletic department. That's the play, if allowed. Instead of one item (what the coach is wearing during the game), op...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

Our bats started cooling off heading into the toughest stretch of the year. A lot of our top hitters so far this year were unknown coming into the year. Maybe scouting reports have caught up to them? time to figure out how to overcome it. Luckily the USA and GSU pitching staffs aren't great either.

Re: Gillin said we're gonna play Western in football soon

I know they are in NC but they don't have a big brand name, they don't travel well, and this should be a blowout win for us every time. We really don't need to play them but if we are going to we better only play them in Boone and beat them by 40+ every time. You know who else thinks like this? Car...
