We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

When Worlds Collide
Walking around the food court at DC Union Station this morning and hear a “Go Apps!” yelled at me.
Later in the day dining al fresco at Phillips at the inner harbor in Baltimore and hear “Go Mountaineers!”
App and Amtrak and light rail in Baltimore Nice trifecta.

Re: Spring Game Weather
The phone app recap mentioned 15,000 and there was a link to the roster on the phone app. That is not what I prefer but that is how things are done now, sadly. 15,000 is impressive.

Re: Spring Game Weather
We got married on March 29 ('14) in North Iredell, was rainy off and on but pretty warm. Went to spend 2 nights in BR directly from the wedding. Didn't pay attention to weather due to the other chaos going on. I was in shorts/tee, wife was in a sundress and flops. It was 30 degrees, 60mph wind gust...

Re: ACC
“ Did we quit when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?!?” A rewrite of history?? A comedy movie reference. Having to type that made me realize I picked the wrong week to stop smoking. Hold up...didn't you tell me you were trying to stop sniffing glue? That and also looks like I picked the wron...

Re: SoCon Champs
Unfortunately not a SunBelt sport. I have never understood why it is not more popular as a sport, because the teams cannot cost that much to fund. I guess it is easy to cut that sport, because it is considered a Men's Sport and title XI makes it a popular sport to cut. However, Rugby is even worse ...

Re: ACC
You need to realize that at one time Duke was the football school to beat in the SoCon when Walace Wade was the coach, I mean they even played in the Rose Bowl. hosted They played Oregon State. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_Bowl_Game in Durham so they hosted. Yes they played as host.

Re: Interim Chancellor
I’ve yet to hear (read) a negative word about this. For that, I am thankful. How's this? And we have to wait until 1 March to remove the interim label. I am way too impatient for that. UNC BOG just wants to screw us over at every chance they can. Hahaha! I needed the laugh. I’m sure there’s a Simps...

Re: Interim Chancellor
I heard some of it, and I typed out educate me about Everts a bit and then deleted it as I also don't want to focus on neither the past in this case, nor negatives. I am happy with what we have now.
But give her the title and be done with her. It might help us in the future to not be petty.

Re: Interim Chancellor
One of the first things Norris should do is extend Chancellor Emeritus status to Peacock (posthumously) and Everts. That would go a long way to repair some of the hurt and division and re-start a broken tradition. Just Peacock. Can you do emeritus pothhumously? Also I don't think Everys was so bad ...

Re: Interim Chancellor
I hope it's Heather Norris and not another outsider with no ties to the school or the community. I think a mixture of "family" and "outsiders" is best and should not be the same every time we get a new chancellor. But I do think we have done well with those that came up through the App State family...
