The last time App had back to back losing seasons was 1981 and 82.
40+ years.
We're staring down the barrel.

Re: Where is NewApp, aka JCline?
I did some digging and unfortunately he passed away on May 2 of this year. Appreciate you finding out what happened to him. It sucks when you're looking up an old name remembered and you're confronted by an obituary. Cline was definitely an odd one at times, but, like all of us, he loved his Mounta...

Re: Game day Operations
Mt best guess is that it will never happen as their first priority will be premium seating. Yeah, that was what I got from the press release too. Like Saint said, at some point the administration will have to pay the piper for putting off the parts of the stadium that should be worked on first. But...

IMO, both the east and west stands should be rebuilt before putting another giant tower behind the current erector set.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Was the game and a few observations. Zero energy on the sidelines. Zero. Also and this may be dumb but we don’t point anymore during kickoffs. Nah, not dumb at all. It's a cool tradition and one the team should still be doing. Things like that, no matter how trivial seeming, matter. As for the ener...

Open QB tryouts at KBS on Monday. Gotta be someone in the Geology department that can sling a better rock.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
There's nothing about this team that feels like Appalachian State.
It's like I'm watching a random team generated in create mode, with the minimum of stat points, in a video game.

AJ should be cutting every App fan a refund check from his NIL fund.
It'll probably be 1.50 but I'll still take it.

Re: Across From Holmes
That actually makes a lot of sense to keep pedestrians separate from traffic exiting the parking deck.
I was going to suggest a hole for folks to toss their NIL money into, but it's probably not that.

Yup, I noped right on out when I saw there was no option to select seats and the additional disclaimer that the ticket office could make contact with seat relocations based on demand and giving level.
Clown level stuff.
Props to Charlotte for doing it right.

Re: 12 team playoff
All four of the first round games have been snoozers. I'm not holding out much hope that Arizona State and Boise State are going to hang next week. Even with more teams it's still basically the SEC/BIG 10 Invitational. I'm so ready for the semi-pro teams to break away from the NCAA and let the rest ...

Shawn and his family are going to be fine.
Growing up in a military household I went to three different elementary, three middle, and two high schools.
My mom certainly wasn't paid HC money or given a buyout.

Personally I'm not sad to see any of 'em go. It's the new reality we're in. I no longer care about the name on the back of the jersey, only the one on the front.
Next man up.

I'm ready for someone who isn't part of the App ecosystem. It all feels tired.
I want someone who can bring fresh eyes, energy, and a new perspective to the program.
