We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: DJ Smith DC
So pumped to have DJ back. Great man, great family and a solid track record in the coaching ranks thus far.

Re: App Transfer Portal 2025 - IN
Let me preface this by saying, I still like the Dowell hire. However, not sure keeping the guys here that just went 5-6 is the right approach. Losing is a tough habit to break, and the dudes still here, have done it far more than we are used to.

Re: App Transfer Portal 2025 - IN
Not a fan of this precedent. If this becomes the law of the land, unless you are a 4 star or 5 star kid out of high school, D1 coaches will rarely ever look at you. Meaning more kids having to make multiple moves during college to hopefully make it to their final school. I have a son going into high...

Re: Dowell Loggains
More important to me than Coach Dowells play calling or record in the NFL is who he get to call plays for at the QB position next year. That should be priority 1 for Coach Dowell. Finding his guy and helping him flourish.

Re: Dowell Loggains
Lets put Dowells' NFL time into some perspective by digging a bit deeper into perhaps why he struggled at the NFL level. I think anyone would agree the QB, particularly in the NFL, is what makes an offense really go. Very few folks in the history of the NFL have ever looked good with subpar QB play....

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
He has been an O coordinator at the highest level of the sport. Highly unsure of his recruiting prowess, not my first choice, but one of the best resumes.

Re: DJ Smith
For the record, fairly certain Brian Quick blocked the 1st FG against Michigan, not DJ.

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
I am!!!! Shaedon Meadors is his tight end coach down at Mercer. Id be down with Mike Jacobs. Dude has won everywhere. Why not go with Drew Cronic since he built LR and Mercer into winners before Jacobs replaced him? You could easily argue Jacobs rode Cronic's coattails at both schools. Cronic.. App...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
He knows how to run a program and Doug needs a safe pick here. Too much margin for error with an Assistant that’s never done it before. His tenure at a P5 wasn’t great but he has experience with working with limited resources versus Woods at SMU. He wasn’t a viable candidate but he was mentioned he...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
In reference to Neal Brown, he had a 51% win percentage at his first P5 stop while trying to learn and navigate NIL. You know who had a 58% win rate(0-3 in bowls) at their first P5 stop......Nick Saban at Michigan State. Not sayin Neal is NIck, just trying to put his stay at WVU in a little perspect...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
I am of the opinion that our donations to the program towards NIL, will mean far more than who we choose to lead it. Give me someone capable and lets pony up to get him the dudes.

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
For me it comes down to his stint at Troy. He took a team at our level that hadn't had a winning season in 5 years. Had 1 rebuild year then won 10+ games 3 straight seasons. Also won 3 straight bowls in the Sun Belt and has a 5-1 all time bowl record, which tells me, when he has time to plan he can ...

If it is down to Casey Woods and Neal Brown, my preference would be Casey, but I’d be a happy camper either way.

I would take DJ Smith and be super happy. He is also the recruiting coordinator at Mizzu now. Recruiting is paramount in today’s transfer portal world. That was never one of Clark’s strong suits unfortunately.

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
My Wishlist in no particular order.
Tremaine Jackson
Tre Lamb
Mike Jacobs
All three are under 45 years of age with a good track record thus far in their somewhat brief HC experiences. Also, wont break the bank like a former P5 guy.
