I'm not sure I understand that comment. Are you saying that the program was in bad shape when Moore took over?
If you consider that a scad of players left for South Carolina, some to Sparky, then yes 94 is right.
First of all, 94 didn't make the comment; WV did.
Secondly, a "scad" left? Bobby Fuller and a good o-lineman left. Those are the only two of any significance I remember leaving. Perhaps you are thinking about the 50+ players who quit when Moore got to Boone.
Thirdly, if you think the situation Satterfield inherited was better than the one Moore inherited, you're wrong. Moore inherited a team that had just played in the I-AA semifinals and was on the rise. Satterfield inherited a program in demise and also had to put up with the drama of Moore leaving and the schism that developed among the fans regarding Moore's departure.

A coach leaving is never a smooth transition accepted by all. Regardless of the specifics. The question I always pose is, where do your allegiances REALLY lie? To the coach, the players, or the school?

We say TODAY I GIVE MY ALL FOR APPALACHIAN STATE. Not today I give my all for Jerry Moore or Scott Satterfield or Charlie Cobb. It's time for those still hurt over Jerry's dismissal to let go of that grudge. Obviously you still love Appalachian State or you wouldn't still be here.

Obviously, as my signature indicates, I agree with you 100%. And that goes for Mr. (I wish I hadn't blocked that field goal) Lynch, as well.

People need to ask themselves if they are Appalachian State fans or Jerry Moore fans. Don't get me wrong. It can be both. I am a fan of both -- a Mountaineer first and forever, but a fan of both.

It really is kind of hard to understand that people are loyal to the university when they will not let this issue die. This issue being stirred up is of no help to anyone and especially the university. I really feel like there are those who don't want this wound to heal. Come on and give it a rest. We have games to talk about. We have good things happening on the field. The glass is way more than half full.

Fuller was a good quarterback. He didn't play much at USC but he was great for App.
