We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Coach Jim Fox: Personals

Unread post by asu66 » Sat Apr 05, 2014 1:27 pm

So who is our new coach, anyway. This will tell us a little more about Jim Fox, age 41, head basketball coach of the App State Mountaineers...

We know this about him. He knows who's on our player roster. By now, he knows how deep the APR situation will cut. And I'm sure he knows that "his" best player ended the season suspended from the team. He has seen our team play on numerous occasions. The fact that he didn't run for his life with all that bad news says he's either tough as nails or very, very naive. Methinks a street smart Long Islander (with a 12 year sidekick named Bob McKIllop) would be tough as nails. But that's just me. Time will tell. The guy certainly is inheriting a FULL-TIME-JOB.

yep, with the "dumpster fire" that is our men's program, unless he is a miracle worker, we probably can count on him staying for atleast 3 years before he starts turning this thing around and
attracts the attention of the bigger schools.

If he can convince our two 2014 recruits to stay that would be very helpful.

I read somewhere that Rasheed Worrell is as much as gone! Maybe Firemoose can fill in the blanks; or maybe Fox can reverse the tide.

Flomo is as good as gone too, he will take his talents to one of these three UNCG, Mercer or Murray St
