We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

If anyone is out there, did DJ say anything about Neal?

He isn't even on the bench tonight.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Three comments on our home finalle? Congrats to Capel for alienating an entire fanbase. It's almost over...

Grim outcome. Another double-double for the late blooming Spagnolo...a decent game from Ty Toney and well less than should be expected from the others. This was ugly. Mercifully it will soon be over.

Anemic free throw shooting, non-existent three point shooting, no plans for inbound plays, and a game plan consisting of only "well, it's senior night, we have to play with passion."

Everyone who has ever bled, or even worn black and gold deserves better than this.

Tournament loss + five minutes should do it.

Can anyone tell me why I am going to Asheville for the tournament?

The only reason would be to honor Coach Moore's SoCon HOF announcement.

74-61. 16 of 33 from the line and we went scoreless for the first 6 minutes.

Unfortunately D-1 competition in the sunbelt is far superior to that of d-1 Socon. Only going to get worse I'm afraid, until we get a coach that can recruit legitimate D-1 talent.

I have been the last four years and have had a good time whether in Chattanooga or Asheville but "fortunately" for me this year I have a conflict and can't go. I would like to be there for Coach Moore and to see what Darcie's bunch can do but I'm not sure I could stomach watching the men go down in flames. I hate to feel that way but it does save me a four hour drive.

The current coach has failed miserably in every aspect of his job. Hopefully his replacement will do much better, can't see how he could do much worse.

I will probably take a beating for this but I think Capel has done a fine job recruiting... he just can't coach his recruits. The players are talented -- he just can't get them to play together!

I'm almost expecting a tournament run coming up. Just because that would be just the kind of thing to happen in a season like this to piss us all off here at the end

Yeah, you may have a point there. From what I've heard it seems the players don't have much "respect" for him.

Which should be task #1 for any coach -- get the players to respect you.

But, its hard to say he's done a poor job recruiting in my opinion..

He brought in an Xavier commit in Canty, a former top 100 HS player in Baskin, and a UConn Commit in Trice. Additionally, he brought in a Metro 4A and District 7 NC player of the year (Eaves), a 4 time florida all state player (Burgess), an NC all state player (Neal), and the "second-best shooter" out of high school in NC (Hamilton).

And let's not forget Graham and Flomo. So clearly, the guy can recruit and get the attention of some touted and talented players. He just can't put them all together and form a winning team
