Bowl Ticket Sales

Unread post by MountaineerKidd » Sun Dec 17, 2017 1:50 pm

I know last year we discussed this a lot and wondering if there is an idea of how many tickets of our allotment we have sold?

Have not talked with anyone from the university, but from everything I am hearing it looks like there will only be about 1/4 of the fans that traveled to Montgomery the past two years.

Yeah, I bet the crowd will suck. That said, you can donate tickets through our site but the university has done a crap job advertising that...

Did anyone see how many fans were at the Cure Bowl? Now that was sad. Great win, but hardly anyone there.

I could not find the game, I wonder if you have to have the sports pack on DIRECTV to cbs sports channel?

The most diehard fans will be in Mobile. My wife is not happy that I am going but I would not miss it for anything!

It’s a bit unfair to say the die hards will be there. There are plenty of people that bleed and sweat black & gold that have other responsibilities that make it difficult to make a trip on the 23rd. Life gets in the way sometimes and no one should feel bad about it.

I don't blame anyone for not traveling to Mobile. The date is awful for travel. Appreciate those who are making the trip!

My comment was not made to make anyone feel bad; if it was taken that way, I apologize.

My wife is not happy that I am going. My family does not live in NC so I rarely get to see them during the holidays. Every Christmas Eve my wife has a little get together and family members that we do not see throughout the year show up; it is usually the only time we see them all year which makes no sense to me.

I told her I was not missing the game and would try my best to be back as soon as I could.

I visited family this past week for Christmas so that I can attend the Bowl Game. My close family members were fine with it; however, I was surprised to get smack from some of my relatives for not being their on Christmas. My niece told me I should not get any presents sense I would not be there on Christmas Day. She followed it up with which is more important, family or App? I replied that App is family.

21 for me. I missed the first two bowl games. My wife insisted that I go to this one.

If the Dollar General Bowl would try to get a date on December 26th or later it would help. I am not sure even the power five schools would travel well on December 23rd.

Y'all have me chuckling. I can't imagine my husband ever questioning whether I should go to a game or not. Tomorrow's our anniversary. Guess what he's giving me?

That's right. See you in Mobile!
