Bottom line 27 of the last 29. Series ceased to be competitive. I wish Speier the best.JCline0429 wrote:As much as we enjoy disliking them, they kicked our azzes on several occasions when Waters was there, including when one of our best QB's ever was leading the Wishbone Y offense (Robbie Price).MAD Doctor wrote:I'm reminded of an old saying about chicken salad.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I think some of the Delphi forum members started a new board on their own and it may even be closed except for those cleared to read and/or post. But there is still some that post on the Delphi board.falcoapp wrote:They still are on those old Delphi Forums?
What a perfect metaphor for the direction of our programs.
I go the Catamount Pride about once a month, though that may begin to drop off as I am fairly certain my twins are not even going to apply to WCU. I was staying in contact with their fan base so I could ask some questions over the last few years as my oldest did apply to Western and until ACT scores for my twins came back it would have been in the mix for them as well. But I am fairly certain that not is the case unless there is going to be a free application week for Western.
I would like to continue to play them in every sport except football. For football I would like to see Furman be in the mix if we must play an FCS school. We need to beat them a few more times to even out the series.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

They have something called Catamount Sports forum as well but apparently some player's parent is over there telling all. I don't put any truth to 9 things out of 10 when it comes from a "disgruntled parent". Hopefully Mark can come back home in the future as he will always be welcomed in Boone.

I noticed Paige Speir at the game yesterday, had a what? moment and then realized their oldest boy is one of our backups. I like Mark and his family and would welcome him back here with open arms.
