Support for tapatalk will be ending this weekend. It's not used by a large majority of the users on this site. That coupled with the improvements made over the last 6 months in the ability to view the site from a mobile phone without issue has led me to conclude tapatalk is not worth the time involved to support going forward. I do know some of you really enjoy using it and I hate 'taking away' something you really enjoy using, but it really is a giant time suck to support tapatalk for the few people who do use it regularly.

If the mobile experience goes downhill again and we have more issues arise (especially the Apple issues), we'll look at adding tapatalk back later. I did want to let everyone know though before I remove it as it was requested a few months ago that we inform users of upcoming changes.

Have you tried lately? Haven't heard any complaints after a lot of changes were made back in February. Maybe everyone got tired of complaining but maybe the issues were largely resolved? I don't know...

I think it's better than before. Have not used much since going to tapatalk. After going there since the update, I'm really only having trouble with one article - "100 ways ...". Thanks for all you do!

Safari and chrome on the iPhone redirect to an ad after about 10 seconds on the page. You go back and it happens again.

No problems on the iPhone here.

You stopped doing any updates/support of Tapatalk, but it will still work until it doesn't.

Well, looks like I won't be using YC on my mobile device anymore. Jerky, slow, chok full of ads. And it randomly logs me out then won't accept my login.

Disappointed in this decision.

ugh, that sux. I tried connecting through the web on my phone and it was just intolerable, crazy virus pop ups, ads etc. W/O Tapa my use of the board will drop significantly. Not that anyone cares...

I fully appreciate the hard work and efforts of the moderators of this site and love and find this site to be the most informative resource we fellow Apps have as well as the tenure and familiarity many of us share here..........But this website truly is a ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!

CornCob... Looks like you are just 9 posts away from 100. Reach that magic # and it performance should improve significantly.

I have almost 1400 posts and have the same issues so this is beyond the 100 post threshold. I am getting this annoying you have a virus pop up. Plus an add takes ove every time I click on a different thread. I am using a Samsung Galaxy and had 0 issues when connecting through Tapa.

I am somewhat technology challenged here but just this week when I sign in with my Mac book pro I am getting the you have a virus and malware warning. This only happens when I go to Yosefscabin, no other sites. I seem to remember others talking about this problem in the past so I didn't get too concerned. But the only way to get rid of it is to turn off my computer. Not having any problem with my iPhone though so I guess I will use it from now on or just quit the site entirely. Hate to do that since living in ATL it's the best way to keep up with what's going on up the mountain.
