Appalachian Football Club

Does anyone know how much fan support and interest the soccer team in Boone is getting? My company has been approached with an opportunity to do something with the team, like a co-branded distilled spirit kind of thing.
I love the Sasquatch logo...would look awesome on a label.

Can only speak for Hickory FC. App FC plays them Saturday night. Hickory is averaging 3k per game, $12 a ticket. Plays at
LR Moretz Stadium. While the field lines are confusing, it is a great game day experience. Staffing, concessions, and Merchandise, far
exceeding what I expected from a Semi Pro League.

The catawba valley has a pretty strong soccer culture and has for a good 15 to 20 years, it just had no outlet.

They draw between 1000-1500 usually, I think they've approached 2k a few times. The games are really fun. There's a supporters group "The Squatch Guard" that meets at Booneshine pregame and then walks down to the field with drums and flares, and they create a really fun atmosphere. The stands have the supporters section and have drums, flags, and chants. The hill is usually pretty full of families, kids, dogs, people just sitting near their cars and eating/drinking. There are also fans on the opposite side of the field which are premium field level seats. It's usually a quieter crowd on that side, but I think they provide food/drink and its a great social event. There's usually food trucks and sometimes bounce houses at the games.

If you havent gone, I really do recommend it. I often leave the games thinking how cool it is that this atmosphere and community event rose from the ashes of the men's team getting cut.

Been following them a little since they started, finally was able to come to a game last weekend and had an absolute blast! The team is good, so that helps... the Squatch Guard creates such a fun atmosphere. Tickets were very reasonable. My entire family had a lot of fun. Next time we come I think we'll meet at Booneshine and march down...
