The jury is still out. Great win over the Cardinals. But success isn’t based on one game. I hope he can keep it up, though I think Walker will get the short end of the stick. Go Panthers!

For what? Scoring 2 TD's on one of the worse defenses in the league? Against a 3-6 team? Please. I'll eat crow when the crow is ready. I would enjoy the panthers being relevant again.

Newton and Panthers ALMOST beat a 6-3 Washington team. Oh wait. Washington was actually a 3-6 team. ALMOST defeated their former winningest coach in Panther history.

On the bright side, Cam looks better in many ways than when he was previously a Panther. He and McCafferty (sp) complement each other and both are healthy at the same time for once.

That game today was awful to watch. Washington's D is pretty good and the Panther's porous O-Line certainly didn't give Newton much time to get anything going.

The Panthers will not get it done. Not good enough. Get through the year healthy and then find a QB that is a leader that can throw. Cam did look better today in some regards but he ain’t the answer.

Taylor Heineke looked like Tom Brady out there, making unreal throws and plays, I call BS. If he keeps it up, Wash goes to the playoffs. I don't think he will.

Depends on the records of other teams in the NFC. Last year Washington made it with a 7-9 because the NFC East was so bad last year. 7-9 won't win that division this year but as of today Minnesota has the last NFC wildcard with a 5-5 record. My guess is that it will take a 9-7 record, at least, for a wildcard this season.
