We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Citizen-Times: Keith Jarrett Unloads

Unread post by asu66 » Fri Mar 07, 2014 5:38 pm

Asheville Citizen-Times writer Keith Jarrett has finally found someone to kick around other than the folks over in The 'Whee. He unloaded on a new target after today's SoCon tourney loss...

He is definitely bitter that we are leaving the SC, but most everything he wrote is true. We chose a bad year to have a bad year but I think the football program is in much better shape than he seems to believe.

Sadly, I can't really get riled up over his fat arse this time because he's pretty much on the money, at least with his basketball analysis. He oversimplified the football situation and made it sound a little worse than it is, but overall, he's right. We desperately need a solid hire this time around for basketball. I refuse to believe that Cremmins and He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named are the only two men who can win consistently in Boone.

At first I thought the topic was about an outhouse in Asheville.

the tone of the article seems to be he is almost happy that we are struggling, and your right, he really seems bitter that we left. I get the feeling its a personal thing with him, he seems to really dislike App, but when the mens basketball is this bad, and the football team had a bad season we become an easy mark for any part time reporter for a small time newspaper.

Haters gonna hate. One way to shut his pie hole- WIN. The 2013-14 entire athletic year has been a nightmare and there is no defending it. With that said, we are not leaving with our heads down, and we SURE didn't make a mistake in deciding to move up. We dominated this conference and one aberration of a year doesn't change that.

Just to be picky, we were the 9 seed, not Samford.

Honest and right on the money except he obviously doesn't realize Cobb worked himself a 3 year extension this summer.
