ASU women's basketball signee Madi Story of Catawba (NC) Bandys broke her school's scoring record last night in her team's 30th win--in the NCHSAA 2A Western Regional. Story scored 14 points in the game while becoming Bandys' career scoring leader with 2,133 points. With the 62-42 win over East Davidson, Bandys continued its undefeated season. They go for win #31 and the regionals championship against East Rutherford on Saturday.

Story, a 6' 0" guard, will suit up for Darcie Vincent's Apps next season. Story is the daughter of former Lady Mountaineer star Mitzi (Yount) Story.

ER got beat by 8th seed Franklin. Bandys will have to take on a very HOT Franklin team. Good luck to Bandys.

I guess that's what I get for trusting the WSJournal for my source.
