
ASU women's basketball signee Madi Story of Catawba (NC) Bandys broke her school's scoring record last night in her team's 30th win--in the NCHSAA 2A Western Regional. Story scored 14 points in the game while becoming Bandys' career scoring leader with 2,133 points. With the 62-42 win over East Davidson, Bandys continued its undefeated season. They go for win #31 and the regionals championship against East Rutherford on Saturday.
Story, a 6' 0" guard, will suit up for Darcie Vincent's Apps next season. Story is the daughter of former Lady Mountaineer star Mitzi (Yount) Story.
