Now, push UNC Basketball's "F" grade in Bloomberg aside; 'cause we have our own problems. Big ones. If you haven't read T-Dog's most recent blog, stop what you're doing and read it now.
Second installment of the Four Years of Capel. This time focusing on off-the-court including a damning look at the APR.

It's stunning how "hands-off" our coaching staff must have been for the last four years. Our "chickens are coming home to roost."

Re: T-Dog's APR Blog
How's the APR calculated if a coach decides NOT to re-new a scholarship? Seems I remember that being a negative towards graduation rates. IF, and I say IF, Neal and Canty are not retained, wouldn't that further erode the APR?

We're in a hole it's going to take us three years, minimum, to dig out of. Any coach we try to lure is going to have to consider whether he wants to go into a situation where he can't go to the post-season for about three years regardless of how well he does.

Re: T-Dog's APR Blog
Surely the post-season ban would only apply to tournaments run by the NCAA (NCAA tournament, NIT), and not the others (College Basketball Invitational, CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament). NCAA-run tournaments are where the $$$$$$$ are, however.
