We started slow but really starting to pick it up.

Just got of the phone and saw only one post since my last. Which basically means we have been doing well.

Freshman Justin Forrest has been on fire these last few games. App 5 for their last 5 from the field.

So the team got down 8-0 early, and has now rallied to lead late in the first half. I don't care what you guys say, that is an improvement. The last year or two we'd probably be down 15 by now. I was hoenstly thinking we'd get blown out tonight, so if we just keep it tight throughout I'd be thrilled. VCU has 3 losses, but all came to teams that are traditionally pretty good and none were blowouts I don't think.

Slightly off topic but Harrison Battle does a great job on the broadcast and will only get better.

Down 46-45 at the break. We are playing well and not settling for a contested three.

I don’t care what happens in the second half. We are a well coached team. If we had a really good true post player, we might be really hard to deal with. I’m enjoying seeing the hard work of our staff and players come to fruition.

A combination of dead cold shooting and apparently having to play by a different set of rules, has us down 79-62 with 5:22 left.

81-68 at the under 4. We need to work on fatigue free throws.

Yah we look pretty fatigued out there. Few missed free throws and unlucky shots from being a tied game.
