Fun game to attend that was really never in doubt. We played some really good ball in spurts, but we need to play consistently. Coastal has a small gym that could be a tough place to play, if they were competitive.

Always happy with a conference win. The bottom of the Sunbelt is so bad this year it's important to keep racking these wins up. There are a couple teams like Arkansas St with lopsided easy schedules (just one matchup each vs App/JMU v two) that unfortunately may be competeting for a bye come late season.

The good, the average and the bad will start to separate quickly (if not already). The good can't afford that ugly loss to one of the bad- it often happens but that bye is huge to get come tournament time. Our transition offense can be great as we showed in that huge run last night. We can overcome some foul trouble which is good.

Small world. I lived at Bramblewood my junior year (2004). I lived on the Winkler's Creek side, building closer to the mall, second floor, bottom right corner.

The apartment I watched it in was next door to you in the middle. I lived on the 3rd in the middle. I used to talk to Matt McMahon in the parking lot when he came to see his girlfriend in the other building.

I know it’s been beaten to death, but it absolutely blows my mind how bad Xavion is at free throws. The form, the shot, it’s so bad. He’s such a freak athletically, his defense is amazing, but the everything about his free throws are unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

Last night reminded me of the most recent NCAA tournament team....bricks for most of first half...then light it up in second half....
I sure hope we can put two seconds halves together on Saturday.
