At least our women beat a pretty good ETSU team. This means those weekend double-headers in the 'spring' I've been looking forward to will be a little less painful to watch.

I was at the game. Tough to watch our guys get dominated by Furman....in basketball. Are they even predicted in the upper half of the Socon? I will say that our guys never quit and that Fox seems to be a good coach, he just needs his players that fit his system. Eaves and Burgess are definite leaders. But, Furman dominated the boards and hit everything from deep. Our perimeter defense needs tons of work. FU swings the ball very well and our guys could not get in position to cover the 3 all night....not that it's hard to shoot over a 5'8" guard. Some of our big guys just seem a little slow and often not in the right spot. It doesn't help that Tab, Obacha, and Lawson were all in street clothes, either. Why is Lawson out now? Fox does seem patient with his players and I'll be patient with him and his system. Again, our guys never quit. I like the attitude of this team and the way they support each other.
