Re: App vs LMC
We seem like we are trying to go faster than we can keep up with right now
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Trust me I have seen a lot worse opening exhibition halfs. For a complete oil change in the off season it has not been that bad.Gonzo wrote:The season ends tonight if we don't pull away.

My expectations for this team are the lowest of any team I have ever followed, but a loss to LMC is still unthinkable.appgrouch wrote:Trust me I have seen a lot worse opening exhibition halfs. Eh, Syracuse and Michigan State have lost exhibition games to D2 teams in recent years. Kentucky and UNC both lost in the Bahamas this summer to teams that pretty much arrived in the back of pickup trucks 10 minutes before tipoff.Gonzo wrote:My expectations for this team are the lowest of any team I have ever followed, but a loss to LMC is still unthinkable.appgrouch wrote:Trust me I have seen a lot worse opening exhibition halfs. But still, save yourself some stress and just expect us to be REAL bad. I'm thinking of his season as much like football season - we won't be good, but we aren't eligible for the postseason anyway, so just hope to see progress over the course of the season. (Only in basketball's case, I'm afraid it's going to be a longer rebuilding project.)

Re: App vs LMC
Playing everyone is how you figure out who the best 8-10 are. I wouldn't expect the rotation to be set in stone by game 1, but hopefully he'll be able to whittle it down by Janauary. Though with so many new players and a new coach, that process might take longer than normal.mtnjax wrote:i really hope we don't rotate the players in and out this much once the season starts. pick the best group of 8-10 and stick with them
