I don't think it fair to judge the incoming recruits until they play. Kendall Lewis wasn't highly heralded but shows great promise and DK has a track record of turning things around. (Of course, he has to be here to do that.) And, while I am optimistic over the long term future, next year could be a challenge. In the end, our future successes will depend on his ability to recruit.

Far from it. Fox had the talent but was a bad game coach, at least DK knows what he’s doing there, but you will see how bad things will be for DK without some talented players and that will take 3-4 recruiting cycles after this season. Not sure he’ll be that patient but we’ll see.

The decommitment is unfortunate but the statement "no good incoming recruits" is just bull. The team showed significant improvement and it was clearly being coached up this year. No need for trolls.

Sure he is going to have some hurdles and I am sure he is quite well aware of those, however by what this coach/team did this year it has put a positive spin about APP basketball to everyone who has even a passing interest. Also agree that it is not fair to "write-off" recruits before they have the opportunity to prove their skills. As for Coach Kerns, (I didn't watch many games but read follow-up info) he wouldn't allow his team to quit when trailing and that in itself is huge for a team, any team, who has lost so many games over the last several years.
