2 sellouts in 23 years before this season….
Now 2 sellouts in 2 months!

JMU quickly becoming a great rivalry
It's not that it's JMU making them the sell outs..

It's we're finally good and JMU is the main competition to win conference right now. If we were in the same conference as Watauga High School and they were in JMUs position/rank, it would be sold out too.

JMU is not selling it out. Good basketball between two good teams is selling it out.

Because it is a rivalry. :D

JMU definitely a reason we will have a big crowd. Would not have it if we were playing Texas State.

If you were at Auburn you would know it was not a sellout. App is joining the other entertainment industry and trying to make ticket scarcity a reason to buy. They got me this game...JMU. more sections opened up today and there were plenty of seats left at the Auburn game. I think the morals of this strategy are ridiculous. It is a business so good luck calling wolf.

Auburn game was sold out 2 weeks before game…Didn’t understand the 1000 or so empty seats…maybe ticket brokers bought a bunch and couldn’t resell.

Looks like they are using scarcity on this one. Seems to be working.

I think the empty seats were mostly unused student seats

We also played at Troy for the conference championship in football the day before. There was a large student contingent at the bball game. I feel like us making the football title game took some people away that would have been there otherwise.

Sellout, Rivalry, National TV, 6:00 (plenty of pre-gaming time)

Recipe is there for the best basketball atmosphere in ASU history.

It will be interesting to see if it is better than the opener against UNC, the Auburn game, or one of the Davidson games when they were really good. I do agree the recipe is there. The UNC game was a true sellout and I hope this is as well.

very excited for this game. JMU is mad about the football game and the first basketball game, so they'll be determined in this one, especially since it's on ESPN. They'd love some payback.
