Program is slowly turning the corner. Road wins used to be extremely hard to come by.

Yeah, but that was before 31,000 kids discovered that Boca Raton is right on the Atlantic near W. Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and North Miami and got their priorities in order...beach, surf, beach, surf, parties, ball and then books if there's any time left in the month.

Agreed, it wasn't long ago we were losing these type games.

Bullpen was lights out last night. Pitching so far this year has been vastly improved.
Remember in baseball you recruit 2 years out so this is his first full class.

For the first 10 games they have out scored their opponents 57 runs to 44 runs.
4 of their 6 losses are to teams ranked in the top 25 (D1).
This does not look like the team that was predicted to be the “cellar dweller” of the Sun Belt!

It's hard to get a gauge on this season. Tennessee currently has the best ERA in the nation at 0.57, so our goose egg that weekend wasn't an anomaly. They thumped Troy 11-2 last night.
However, most of our offense has been in two games, so those games are outliers as well.
We'll need to beat Georgia State and get something out of Texas State and Louisiana.

It would be great to pull out a win over Miami tonight. This weekend's schedule in Greenville should give us a chance to pick up some wins also. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. I don't expect to challenge for the conference title by any means, but I don't think we're a cellar dweller this year. I think we will see a nice positive trend.

Miami beat FAU 11-2 if there’s any comparison to make. A win would be amazing.

If the pitchers are different, there's no way to compare. Even then, those comparisons are pretty worthless. Baseball is an even "streakier" sport than basketball.

Gonna shoot for the Saturday morning game since Sunday looks like a washout.
