Costly 2 out error gives them 4 runs in the 4th....We now have 4 errors on the left side of the infield so far including 3 in that inning?? Not all on Springs.
Edit: 12-6 Butler, middle of 8th after another infield throwing error scores another 2 out run.

Does anyone able to follow mind updating? I'm trying to access from my phone but GoASU only has the first game's stats.

12-7 bad guys in the bottom of the 9th. 1 on and 1 out for ASU. 5 errors have killed us in the second game.

Thank you. Infield defense has been our only real weakness to date. It's gotten us in all but the fist game today.

Bummer about all the errors. Was hoping for a sweep. Hopefully Apps can take the series tomorrow.

Troubling that the errors are from the veterans. Got to get it fixed before Conf. play.

Davis and Leach are going to be hard to hold with their bats!

P.S....love those caps!

Me too. The orioles unis have been my favorites for years, especially the old school hats. It's helps that I grew up around them since they drafted my uncle first in '79

Pitching depth is already becoming an issue.

Bold prediction: We win the first game of every double header we play this year and lose the second.

Give Springs some time geez. Arrowwood had some struggles early every year but last and I think he turned out ok. Plus the defense behind him wasn't exactly stellar. This Butler team can score too... they scored 7, 9, and 10 against Ga State last week.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

On the contrary. The reason Coach Jones was comfortable moving Marcello to a closing role was because this team is arguably deeper than last year.

The only difference is that Nunn-Springs-Wieland doesn't have nearly the same punch as Arrowood-Grant-Marcello, though I'm really impressed with Nunn through 2 games.

This is why you play the non-conference games. Thank goodness we found our glaring weaknesses in game 4 so they can be dealt with accordingly before spring rolls around.

Anybody know if they're selling the baseball team's hats anywhere? Couldn't find them on GoASU.

A nice double play puts the mountaineers at bat, bottom of the second.
