Re: Canisius @ Appalachian - Roll Call
Nice play by Crespo to get the lead runner for the 2nd out in the 7th, hopefully he can keep it going and tighten up his defense.
Would like to see the score displayed on the screen but the video quality is excellent, DJ is calling a great game as always and the camera man appears to have woken up! Overall, I've been pleased with my first GoASU TV experience of baseball season.

The boys are breaking it open now. Leadoff single from Troutman, infield single from Burris on a hit and run, then a 2-run triple from Zumbrook on a bullet to right center.
11-4 Apps, no outs in the 7th. Canisius making a pitching change.

Apps up 13-5 midway through the eighth. Agnew-Weiland is now out and is the pitcher of record. He tossed around 80 pitches before being lifted.

Oh, NC State has added our friends from Charlotte for a single game on Tuesday.

Apps go 1-2-3 in the bottom of the eighth. Three more outs, and then everyone can warm up. Congrats to those who stay to the very end.

Re: Canisius @ Appalachian - Roll Call
I would prefer a small graphic of box score and count. And a small graphic of base runners in full screen. However all of this is available but in the windowed view, but the windows can not be resized to make the video be any bigger than it is in that view. I also wish there was as non HD feed in case I have a slow connection or need to share with the family. I like the HD quality, but I assume that comes at a price of needing more bandwidth.TheMoody1 wrote:JTApps1 wrote:Team is playing well... camera man is terrible.
Also, no graphics.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: Canisius @ Appalachian - Roll Call
Just got back and somehow didn't freeze into a block of ice. Great crowd considering that A. some classes for the day (like mine) hadn't ended and B. It was freezing.
Looks like the offense has picked up right where it left off. Pitching and infield defense needs some work if we're going to contend in the SoCon again this year, but overall a nice win. There's an air of confidence surrounding this team that seems to have stayed from last year. Even when they get down early, they still end up burying teams they should beat.
27-2 at home now dating back to last season. That's getting it done.

Good game yesterday! Solid performance by our team. We really need to improve our defense and pitching depth to be in the upper tier of the SOCON this year. As we have seen so far, the hitting is going to be just fine.

One more thing to like about this game: no more Gorton's Fisherman! Block A's on the batting helmets and caps. Helmets were the same as in Raleigh on Friday but the caps are new. Love it.

GOOD.
IMO, we're about 5 years late in finally phasing out the Davy Jones Yosef. What a terrible logo.

JT, I was sitting right next to the camera. The first guy had never filmed baseball and a guy was going over about 300 things he had to do and remember. Later another experienced guy went to the camera. I'm guessing this is when the filming got better. Cold as quite a few football games and it really got bad when the north wind picked up. Heard 225 were there.
