Post game tailgating?

Will post game tailgating be allowed after the Miami game? Seems like I remember that is it allowed for 1 hour after the end of the game. But was wondering with the crowds and traffic if the administration had relaxed the rules. Haven't seen anything official though.

This is definitely one of those "do it first" scenarios. Especially if we walk out of the Rock with a big, fat, orange and green blood stained W.

Tailgate allowed from 8am until 1hr after game. So tailgating allowed during the game. Presumably to accommodate those who are coming but could not get tickets. I like this and wish it was every game rule. Hope but have not seen that they have something like food trucks etc in duck pond area for during game tailgate.

This is something that must change! The one hour deal is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. What's the purpose behind it anyway? Enlighten me please!

From what I remember, it was put in place to allow traffic to clear. By allowing people to hang around afterwards the traffic flow will not be as bad. I would say it needs to be extended an hour or two.

Yes the 1hr rule is a little lame. Takes 30 min to get out of the stadium and walk across campus.

Is it actually heavily enforced? I've never really noticed.

I think it depends where you are. We used to hang out in Greenwood after every game definitely longer than an hour before this was put in place and were never asked to leave. I am in the library deck now and have been ordered out close to kickoff and after the game on more than one occasion. They technically could give an open container but that has not happened to me. Some on here have said they have seen them given out though.

Parking lots are shared by students who live on campus.

I was at an Alumni event in Lenoir last night and was told we would be able to tailgate for at least a couple of hours after the game. Downtown Boone businesses that close early in Saturday will be open for business "past 6:00 p.m." and the town and campus are expecting that it will be into the evening before traffic and parking are back to normal.

If we win and they plan to enforce the one hour limit, they are going to need a bigger jail.

If the idiot factor isn't too high can't believe it will be enforced
