I LOVE it that the ECU logo reserves the western parts of our state as Black and Gold!!!

Of note: ECU season tickets start at $150 but if you have 50,000 full seats I guess this works well financially. Also It is amazing to me that AppState, ECU and maybe soon UNCC have stronger out of conference schedules than the Big 4 often have.

Go #AppState Football!

That is funny, and furthermore to your thoughts about the OC for the other teams in the state, it is odd. UNC plays Wake as an OC soon, does that count as a Power Five OC?

I was casually commenting on primarily UNCs usual week scheduling. NC State is not much better. Wake has played more difficult OC schedules in recent years and has scheduled very few FCS teams since we beat them last in 2000. Grobe didn't like playing FCS teams. They have Delaware on their schedule this year however. ECU has looked to load up OC schedule much like we have this year.

Wake and UNC need help big time in getting buts in seats. This is probably good to keep this rivalry going regardless of Atlantic/Coastal division scheduling.

It's not really that surprising: P5 teams and G5 teams tend to mostly play each other in OOC games, so naturally the G5 schedules are tougher because P5 teams are generally better than G5 teams. And ECU does play about the most rugged OOC slate of anyone year in and year out.

BTW, UNC plays UGa and Illinois next year, while State (whose recent scheduling HAS been weak) plays Notre Dame and the aforementioned ECU.

Every time ECU gets mentioned on this board, our old buddy, StillJonesin', usually shows up to tell us how superior they are to us. I am surprised this discussion hasn't brought him out from under his rock.

Key words there are "start at." The $150 tickets are upper deck in the corners and young grad, which requires a booster club membership.

The better seats are $275 to $300, and also require a booster club membership:
