That's great news. His plan is working.

100% increase in new YOSEF members over the comparable week last year (1st week of sales). The kicker is this year, had just 3 days of sales as the offices were closed Mon and Fri.
AWESOME!

Can someone parse that for me? Is it just people re-upping earlier or is there an increase in new members. I read the statement and it is not clear to me.

Increase in new members.

Not sure it's a 100% increase in new members but just 100% over people who joined Yosef new or otherwise in the first week versus last year.

It seems to me that by changing the ticketing protocols we've gone from begging folks to support our athletes to insisting that folks support our athletes. I'm liking the response so far!

I would still like to have selected the half ticket package. It's become harder to get away 6 weekends in the fall, now that both children and spouses live 2-3 hours away and try to visit.

It's hard for me as well with kids. I have season tickets, sell most games on Stubhub, and usually break even. Some years I've even made a profit. I would recommend purchasing season tickets, and sell what you don't use. It guarantees you tickets for the games like Miami and Wake, supports the efforts to increase season ticket holders, and presents little to no risk to you. It has been a good investment for me over the past 7 years, and locks me in for future home P5 opponents.

This is quite the story after many people though prices should go down because the stadium wasn't selling out. When a brand is on the rise, you don't cheapen it for short-term gain. You set it up for long-term success. Yes, overall attendance nationwide is going down, but I feel a large part is due to TV putting games on whenever they want on short notice. If we believe this is the season the numbers will go back up, then it makes sense to do the first increase in a few years.

Attendance will be dictated by the schedule, if we have 0 or 1 Thursday night games and can avoid Thanksgiving we'll average close to 28k. If we double season tickets and draw crowds like that some people may get there wish to expand.

We could also use some better weather this year as well. The only home game that has any chance of being on Thursday would be GaSt IMO. None of the other teams are coming off a good year or have any sort of rivalry with us.

I have not received any renewal info for season tickets or Yosef club. Has everyone else received that info?

I've only received the ticket e-mail. Login to your Yosef account and be sure you've turned notifications on.

I had the same question. I went to the Yosef website and signed in and found my seats already reserved for me. All I have to do is complete the credit card transaction. Since we have until April to pay, I have decided to wait until March for financial reasons.

I certainly understand "financial reasons". When you're checking out for your ticket order, you can choose to pay all at once, in three installments, or in five installments. If I've read everything correctly, the tickets have to be paid in full by May, so you can't wait until March and choose five installments.
See you at The Rock!
