If and when the Sun Belt moves to a conference championship, I hope it is played at the school with the better record. I believe all other G5 conferences have it set up this way, which increases my confidence that it would happen this way.

I'd like to see Idaho go and us have a championship game this year. Probably makes sense to have it at someone's home stadium. I like the neutral field for most CG's, but ticket sales and an exciting atmosphere is paramount for the conference.

I like the home stadium idea unless it is Statesboro, then it should be either Charleston or Atlanta.

A few misspellings and minor grammatical errors but overall, I give this article an A++

I like his Option 2: Kick just Idaho out, keep New Mexico St in all sports, have a title game in 16, add 1 more (I know everyone hates the idea of letting the fightin' Fallwells in but Liberty has great football -AND- Matchbox 20 Money [Kid Rock fans]), therefore being at 12 teams by 2020.

If none of the available or interested candidates are good enough then boot them both so we can be at 10 members.

Liberty will never ever happen, it's about more than money and their football is decidedly not "great".

Am I reading correctly - and is he correct - that you can have a conference championship game with 10 members but not 11? That would be odd.

I believe that was a typo or some other type of oops. It should be "under 12".

OOOOH, well in that case forget adding another team, ditch Idaho, make NMSU a full member, and play with unbalanced divisions until the RIGHT candidate comes along.
