APP STATE / TROY WX TREND.... #3 Update

No major changes to the forecast thinking for Saturday. Increasing clouds will be noticed earlier, rather than later. The earlier arrival of clouds, no rain until late Saturday, should hold temps down a few degrees over prior expectations.

8 AM - Mid to upper 30s - Mostly sunny to partly cloudy

Noon - Lower 50s - Partly cloudy

KICKOFF - Mid 50s (give or take a few degrees) - Partly to mostly cloudy

1/2 Time - Upper 50s - Mostly cloudy

END OF GAME - Mid 50s - Mostly cloudy to cloudy

Winds for most of the day will be southerly at 5-10 MPH.

****FRIDAY UPDATE****

Still appears the game will be dry, for the most part. Timing is everything Saturday evening. A few sprinkles could start falling late in the 4th or as folks are heading off the mountain. Main rain event is Sunday up there.

My data shows a vortex effect from running circles around Troy, thus keeping the Rock dry the entire game.
