The ones in the bottom left corner are my favorite featured. Wonder why we don't wear them? The color scheme isn't too loud, and it still features the Block A with the state many love. I am even a fan of the white helmet with the block A. Were these used to lure recruits, or do we intend to feature any of these in the future?

After seeing us in all black for the Ga Southern game , I really like seeing all black when we make a home stand.

The Grey alternates were a one year only thing and used a couple of years back then sold afterwards. I have one of them

Same thing will probably happen to this year's gold, thogh I hope we continue to use those

I'd love to see us wear those dark grey North Carolina 'Block A' helmets.

Does anyone have an explanation for why these haven't been used? They look sweet and were tweeted by the coaching staff over a year ago. Maybe a debut in primetime against stAte?

Quit all the fashion crap. We wear black we win.

At what point is grey acceptable? ?? It isnt one of our colors. Black gold white..... end of story.

Not a fan of that font either. It looks a bit weak in my view. Maybe the all lower case. Also just a bit too futuristic look to me. I love me some Star Trek, but the font reminds me of Star Trek a bit too much.

Our uniform combinations for this year were revealed before the season started:
Black=Jersey, Pants
White=Jersey, Pants
Gold= Jersey, Pants
Helmets= Matte Black Block A, Matte Black Patriotic A, Matte Black Victory Yosef

The other uniforms in the images above are most likely Nike promotional uniforms showing possibilities for the future to get recruits excited.

I could see Nike making a special jersey for our bowl game. if it is grey I would like to see it with the block A in the state. It would help the casual viewers identify where we are from.

Grey is a poor excuse for black. And black is our main color.

We are BLACK and Gold and we just whipped Stink wearing AllBlack!!! Does someone want to continue this.

I think a lot of those muddle our brand identity. We should just stick with the black and yellow and the matte helmets...if you want to do something special, the American flag "A" was a hit. The old yosef helmets look like something a high school or DIII team would wear.

That and we sucked when we wore them, I don't think anyone has fond memories of the time we got beaten up by NC A&T, Charleston Southern, and Liberty on our home turf. We seem to do better with the current scheme.

As was stated long ago, these unis are not for us(30,40,50,60,70 yr. olds) they are for 17-22 yr olds.... They like to mix up cool schemes and create NEW ONES. Don't worry we will never change our primary colors... but it is also just as likely that this is the new normal. We will continue different color patterns as well as different color helmuts and masks. It's ok. We will still be who we are.

We're going to wear jerseys other than black. It's going to be ok.

Black Uniforms Matter

This is one thing that I have grown to care less about. Just win baby! If looking cool makes these young guys play better...whatever!

There's a reason all other schools in NC (UNC, State, ECU **they try it a lot**, Duke) try to imitate the Mountaineers by using black when it is not their "real" colors....because its bad ass.
