Clem'son game
We are fortunate to get tickets and will be in section TDD way up top. Holla at da boy if you're in that area.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Will be in Section "TDR". It faces south looking down from the top deck. Start drinking water now. Bring hat, sunglasses, binoculars and sunscreen if you are on my side. Forecast high 85, but will feel like 95. Be prepared. Go Apps!

Re: Clem'son game
The opening line was Clemson -21 but it has very quickly dropped to -17. Initial money coming in on our side. Not sure I'm ready to say we WILL keep it that close, but I give us a great shot to do so.
Clemson's best WR, Mike Williams, will be OUT for this game (and probably several more if not the season) with a neck injury. They still have Scott, Peake, and co. to go with Heisman hopeful Watson at QB, but a huge loss for them nonetheless.

Re: Clem'son game
This game will be decided on our ability or inability to blow up Clemson's bubble screen, which seems to be the Tigers' go-to pass play. Watson will test us deep, for sure. But Mondo Williams and Latrell Gibbs will have to defend their bubble screen exceptionally well for us to be competitive.

Re: Clem'son game
78 great post, I watched the game again when I got back in town and if Howard backs could catch a cold they would have had some nice plays versus our defense of those type of plays and that scared me watching it.
I do think we'll improve after watching the film however.
I will add that our ability to run versus their d may be the most critical facet for our level of success Saturday.

Howard backs and receivers probably dropped 4 easy catches that could have been big plays for them.Saint3333 wrote:78 great post, I watched the game again when I got back in town and if Howard backs could catch a cold they would have had some nice plays versus our defense of those type of plays and that scared me watching it.

Re: Clem'son game
Their backs, and receivers for that matter, dropped a ton of passes that would have hurt us. One in particular I remember was a deep out right in front of our bench. Right through his hands.
My hope is that we were as vanilla as possible. The one thing you can't do much with on the "vanilla" plan is the trenches. I felt like we could have been more dominate there, particularly on our pass rush. There were a lot of plays that it seemed their QB, who I thought was really good, had a ton of time to throw. I would have thought we would have been able to get more pressure. I'm hoping we have blitz packages and stuns that we didn't show at all Saturday.
Lastly, man I felt for those kids from Howard from a physical standpoint. They must have had 10 kids that were injured, a couple pretty seriously. They really got beaten up.
Again, I hope our interior has a much better day this weekend. It will have to be light years better to stay within 17.

Re: Clem'son game
So where is everyone parking? I think we are going to park at the beach area. About a 1.3 mile walk. Shuttle service if needed. Lots of space to spread out I hear.
