Howard University--Two things
Two things I didn't know about Howard University (assuming I have the correct university):
1. They are an HBCU.
2. They have graduated two Rhodes Scholars

I think he meant that he could not believe NewApp took the time to post something that is pretty common knowledge and it was a waste of a post.

Howard is in the MEAC with A&T and NCCU.NewApp wrote:Two things I didn't know about Howard University (assuming I have the correct university):

From what I know and have heard Howard is like the "black Ivy" in that it is the most prestigious of the HBCU's for academics.

So why the H3LL didn't he say so instead of being a smart arse? Common knowledge to whom? I know people who have barely heard of Howard University.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:

On the internet we can be smarts A's without any effort, and generally without consequences. Not counting this passive aggressive response I have been a bit smart once or twice myself.NewApp wrote:So why the H3LL didn't he say so instead of being a smart arse? Common knowledge to whom? That's one reason I post under my real name (ok, let's face it. who could make up a name like mine anyway?) It helps me remember that I'm accountable for what I say. That said, I do have some mighty fine smart aleck abilities even when I use my real name.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:On the internet we can be smarts A's without any effort, and generally without consequences. Oh, but did he know that Howard had had two Rhodes Scholars to our zero?McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:

Did he know that I-AA Howard's stadium in DC holds less that 10,000 and that their coach's nickname is "Flea" and that they are only .500 since he's been there?

You gotta ask him those questions. I have no idea of the answer as to whether he know of this or not.NewApp wrote:Oh, but did he know that Howard had had two Rhodes Scholars to our zero?McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:

Speaking of Flea. I had no idea he was from Down Under.

I did see the winks and was not sure what you meant by that to be honest. I guess I did not get what you were getting at with the emoticon.NewApp wrote:Did you not see the emoticons showing winks?McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:You gotta ask him those questions.
