The last couple of years, I've made a little quiz for myself to test my knowledge of our football team and keep up with number changes, etc. Thought I'd share that here and see how well the board knows the roster. This should be updated with a couple defections and late additions. So, going in to fall camp, how well do YOU know your Mountaineers?

Fun idea. I'm slightly disappointed that I only got 68/106. Although about 19 that I missed were walk-ons that I never would have gotten. But a bunch of the rest were veterans and incoming freshmen that I either forgot about or had their name on the edge of my brain and just couldn't remember.

68 is pretty good if you ask me! The results are a little skewed right now since I took it several times, but I'm sure 68 would be well above average.

Looks like someone got all 106. Either firemoose has taken the quiz or we have a cheater in our midst

Well...I did get a 106/106 but I just took it a few minutes ago so someone else must have done pretty well.

Not exactly fair for me to do it since I do roster updates (name and number) every couple of days and I also have most of these names burned into my brain from all the recruiting stuff I do.

Sorry crutch....I just messed with the overall results. I replayed the game because I was disappointed with my time and my spelling (must have too much time on my hands today ). Two of the 106's are mine but I did better my time by over 3 minutes.

Well crap, I should have known better than to try this at work. I got interrupted from minute 4:00 to 10:00 and managed to only get 42 - that'll scew the numbers in the wrong direction. Sorry guys . . .

No worries. And here I was thinking maybe my 91/106 wasn't as good as I thought! But there's no shame in getting less than you.


No surprise the only players with 100% are Lamb and Cox.

There's a pause button which hides the screen.

I did way too bad on this at the first try.

OUCH 31...what I lack in knowledge I make up in for in blind fervor.

Hint: There are 7 duplicate last names (one is a pair of brothers), for those looking to get more bang for their buck!
