Last night JM said Chisholm will play sparringly, just depends on how the game goes.
Around the Mtn this morning said Lamm practiced yesterday for the first time and should play tomorrow.
I haven't heard anything on the appeal of the suspension for Dufort.

Haven't seen anything, anywhere. Since its NCAA I wonder if its some wierd accepting gifts or something. If it was criminal we would have heard something and if it were grades it would have been internal.

Maybe he was smoking the devil's lettuce? Not trying to start a rumor just speculating. I'd prefer a little reefer to an illegal benefits issue.

Don't know for sure but if that were the case, I don't believe it would be an NCAA issue. Would likely fall in the 'violation of team rules' spectrum.

I don't think thats true.. if it were an NCAA drug test that found it, it would be an NCAA issue. The NCAA and team do random drug tests.. depending on which one detects it is the one who initiates the punishment.
Hopefully, that is not the case for Dufort though.. hopefully it's something minor.

Didn't even think about the NCAA drug test, that is a possibility. All we have been told is that he appealed it, so that would lead me to believe it was not a failed test since there is not much to appeal there. Hopefully it gets cleared up. Good news is that Will Corbin and Ian Barnard both stepped in and played well last week, so we've got some depth there.

Doubtful that it is drug related, because as ASUMike points out, not much to appeal, UNLESS false positive.
JM said on radio last night they found out 10 miles outside of Chattanooga while on the bus he wouldn't be eligible.

Kind of puts other players and coaches in a bad position to only find out right before a game. Could lead to a safety issue or potential injuries in some cases.
Why so many player problems the last few years? Sounds like we could win a National Championship many years if we could just keep the players active that we expect to have prior to the season start.

Just a guess on my part, but I'm thinking it's an eligibility issue. Regan came to us as a walk-on, I believe, and those kind of athletes often don't come to us with a pristine resume.
