Re: ULL Game Attendees
I had a great time in Lafayette. The friendliest "hostile" fans you'll ever encounter. Very gracious and welcoming to our group. They would literally pull you to their tailgate to share some gumbo, po'boys, and beer. Even after the game, while exiting the stadium, they expressed their gratitude in having us there. We met alot of their fans who are looking forward to traveling to Boone next year. We all should really go out of our way to be as gracious and hospitable to them as they were to us. I would highly recommend a trip for our fans to our next game there.

I agree with everything above. ULL Fans and Montana fans are pretty equal. I even had fun with the drunk guys on the lawnmower. Everyone needs to go next time. It was a great experience and all the App State fans had a GREAT time. The food was awesome and a lot did say they were coming to Boone next year.

This is what our rental car looked like leaving Canal Street, New Orleans until we parked for the football game.

Re: ULL Game Attendees
It was well worth the trip down. We are staying the week for Thanksgiving with ourdaughter and son-iin-law in New Orleans. The drive over for the game was sorta like driving from Charlotte to Greensboro, except for the swamps and lakes. The folks at the game were quite friendly and opened their tailgates to the 4 of us. Ate and dranked more than enough. Had to tell them that Boone is in North Carolina and not Tenn. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Reminded me of the Montana folks, especially the crowd we met at Red's. One of the best roadgame experiences we've had.
