I think this is quite impressive given the way the season began, our first season in the FBS, and with so many young players ---
THESE ARE NATIONAL NUMBERS -
Total Defense = 36th
Pass Defense = 25th
Rush Defense = 54th
Total Offense = 29th
Rush Offense = 18th
Pass Offense = 78th
Rushing Yards --- Marcus = 19th
QB Rating --- Taylor = 38th
TDs Scored --- Marcus = 10th
IMPRESSIVE !!!

Currently the number 1 D in the Sunbelt in YPG. Very impressive.

a quick and dirty scan of stats game by game on 3 and outs
Michigan- 1 and 1 missed FG
Campbell- not worth counting but I think 7 with a couple of PICs
USM- 7 with 2 PICs (man we had that game!)
GSU- 2 with 1 PIC
USA- 2
Liberty- 5 including 1 PIC and 1 missed FG (dang that hurt)
Troy- 4 with 2 PICs and 1 fumble for TD
Ga St- 6
ULM- 4 including 1 End of game
Ark St- 5 with 1 fumble
Not sure what this even means in the grand scheme of things but in my mind you toss out Campbell. Defense definitely playing better now. I wonder how many 3 and outs we forced all of last year.

I can't help but think how nasty this offense would be next year if Price had kept his head on straight. We'll be great without him but that would be a deep and talented WR core with him.

Eh. Meadors is better (albeit not as tall). This offense will still be nasty next year. This offense is nasty
this year.

Meadors has shown great hands and good speed but its waaaaaay to early to say he is a better player than Sean Price.

If Meadors conducts himself sensibly when he is off the field, he's already better than Price. A good player who acts like a tool is not a good player; he's just a tool.

It's hard to believe the numbers Marcus has put up after barely playing the first 4 games. Had he been healthy from day with this current OL blocking for him... wow!

10/4 South Alabama L 47-21 8 16 2.0 5 0
10/11 Liberty L 55-48 (OT) 17 111 6.5
10/18 @Troy W 53-14 16 123 7.7
11/1 Georgia State W 44-0 29 250 8.6
11/8 Louisiana-Monroe W 31-29 21 94 4.5
11/15 @Arkansas State W 37-32 40 229 5.7
Marcus' numbers. Dude only had 102 combined rushing yards for Michigan, Campbell and GA Southern. Even if he had pedestrian yards in those games he would be close to top 10 nationally. Beast

Ditto. Problem is, he never had it on straight to begin with.
