(Tues) An early look for Saturday and the 3:30 PM Kick against Liberty... Think clouds, periods of rain and mid to lower 60s.

Forecast trends seems to fit the mood of some App Fans of late. Welcome to the FBS people, many wanted the move, we got it, and now we look for small progress within it; one toe and yard at a time... Rome wasn't built in a day.... in time... in time...

TODAY I GIVE MY ALL FOR APPALACHIAN STATE.. have you?

GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Think clouds
As in, "I think it's about to rain"

Washout or just drizzle?

Clearing later or continued showers?

Thanks

Re: APP STATE / Liberty WX Trends - WED UPDATE

I'll get a bit more specific with the Thursday update. Several different temp solutions and neither a solid lock at this point for me.

Cloudy to mostly cloudy sky, we'll run a chance for rain all day. With probability of precip higher, later, rather than earlier. Much will depend on where Boone lands with regard to boundary placement. Backdoor cold front a bit of a bugger to nail down right now.

Pack the rain gear, smart to have it handy. Won't be calling it a "washout" at this point.

We're Mountaineers! What's a little rain ... or snow ... or cold ...when there's homecoming on tap?

Yeah.. well gosh... rain...

8 AM - Showers likely - 58

Noon - Showers likely - Lower 60s

Kickoff - Diminishing shower chance - Mid 60s

End of Game - Chance for showers, low clouds - Mid to lower 60s

Pack the rain gear, prep for the early soggy with rain chances dropping through the afternoon.

I know it's a sloppy mess up Boone way as of this post... (11:50 AM) Latest modeling (HRRR) suggesting rain should be tapering off around game time. Might take until part of the way through the first quarter.

Hang in there Mountaineers! WIN!
