Simply put: It is time to heal.
Like it or not, the App State fanbase has been fractured since 2012... and understandably so.
But there is NO EXCUSE to not come on Saturday. Jerry is coming home and the Mountaineers will take the field against their first FBS opponent at home.
It is rare to be able to say this but there there is literally nothing objectionable about this game. It is a game that fills every member of every faction of the fanbase with joy. Cool, crisp weather; a conference opponent; October football in Boone and most importantly - Jerry Moore is being rightfully honored as the greatest coach in the history of App State.
If you are on the fence about attending the game on Saturday, please come.
If you can't make it and have season tickets, give them to someone who can go.
It's been a long time since I've had to strain my eyes to get a glimpse of aluminum in the stadium. Let's make that change. It's time to put away petty disagreements and silly arguments and pack the Rock like we've never seen.
I look forward to seeing you and the other 30,000+ of my best friends around 6PM on Saturday!
It's great to be a Mountaineer!
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.
