We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Fellow FBS upstart ODU:

"Old Dominion. The Monarchs kicked off life in Conference USA by beating the reigning conference champion, Rice, in a 45-42 shootout. Old Dominion isn't merely new to Conference USA, it's new to the Football Bowl Subdivision. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke threw for 430 yards and five touchdowns in the Monarchs' win."

Good team that I think you'll see fall off some next year. I'm pretty sure they're a senior laden team. Losing Heinicke will definitely slow them down next year.

You're right in that the Monarchs should fall off slightly next season but I've long said that a football team at ODU would be like a sleeping giant living just across the room and not knowing it. The Hampton Roads market has to be, has to be, a Top-10 HS talent pool and combine that with the large metropolitan population base and it always shocked me ODU wasn't playing on the gridiron. It was really a no-brainer to begin the program and I think it has helped the school transition a bit away from the 'Commuter' tag it has always been labeled with.
