was Mickey the color guy? Whoever the color commentator said about 10 different guys were the best player on the team. That was his go-to comment. "So and so is the best player on the team".

I really like DJ. He does good work. There has to be a way to do a delay with the online radio broadcast so it matches up with the ESPN 3 video feed?

matthews had a lot of nice things to say about coach and their friendship...he seemed very genuine. im noticing a lot more comments and stories and even interviews with moore these days...seems apparent and im hopeful that the door is back open for his return as some type of football liai
son...could only do good things for the program and maybe mend some fences with certain parts of our fanbase...which imop is needed.

Man I have tried everything - however I am not a techie - so if someone has ideas please let us know --- I did ask David and he sent me some info on a radio delay device that can be bought - but no spare money for that for me ---
His note follows ---
"This is the best way to do it: http://www.sportsyncradio.com/

Radio will always be ahead of live TV due to technology...this box offers a
fix.

Hope it helps!"

I have heard rumors that there will be a tribute to Coach Moore at a game this season.

The likelihood increased 10 fold when CC skipped for Atlanta.

The "Appalachian Family" needs to heal, and I am all for it.

Do you have this? If so here is a question.

I note it has mono audio out to hook up to a TV to run through the TV audio.

Does it have audio in to allow the sound from a streaming laptop to be used? 97.3 is about 10-15 miles from being pulled in and AM radio is not great, though I can pull it in if the time of day is such that the station has not dropped to a weaker signal. If I listen it is usually online. Pulling the audio off a computer and into this box for a delay would be great.

And after I typed this I thought I would look into this more. It sounds like it does have audio in
FAQ
9. When you turn on the radio if you notice "A.IN" in the radio display the radio is indicating to you that the remote audio input feature has been selected. You can de-select it simply by pushing up the switch on the top left side of the radio labelled ANT EXT and AUX IN. If the switch has been set to the lower position, AUX IN, then the radio will be set to expect a signal from an external source such as a home theater stereo system which is will then delay. But if you will not be using the feature at this time simply throw the switch to ANT IN and the radio will be ready to use. (It only is concerned with a remote antenna if and when you plug one in to the side jack but that is almost never needed. Otherwise the radio will ignore that switch setting and use the included antenna.)

I am going to look around the internet for software that does this. I bet something is out there and it might allow a longer delay.

I actually liked Matthews on color. Plus he looks and sounds just like Buddy Garrity from Friday Night Lights.

I was at the game so I didn't watch/hear the game on ESPN3, but I did hear the interview with Matthews during the rain delay. He was very personable and praised both App and Jerry Moore. The interview was focused largely on his friendship with Moore and was aired followed a replay of Coach Moore's interview on Mountaineer Talk. I think the two interviews together were very positive and the timing of the broadcast might actually have been fortuitous since it probably had a larger than normal audience.

App has had a history of very intense rivalry with JMU, but the knee jerk reactions to anything related to Mickey Matthews seem to be misplaced these days.

You failed to mention one of the most significant points Matthews made which was App made the right decision to move up to FBS. I thought it was an interesting stance since he is so close to Jerry and we all know Coach Moore was anti-FBS. It was good to hear him (as a former FCS coach) explain why it is a good move.

Yes - and he also said he was after the JMU administration every year to move up - maybe that is one reason he was booted - JMU doesn't seem to know what they want to do ---
