I have been able to dabble with my wife's iPad and my daughter has a Android phone and small tablet. Combine that with reading about a few things over the last few years and I might have answer.

Adobe Flash has been around for years and is used for lots of streaming of media now. Apple thought Flash a resource hog and did not allow it to be supported in iOS devices. There iOS devices are not at the same level hardware wise as a desktop and battery life is an issue for portable devices.. Apple was trying to force some change for good or bad. The AppState servers know what device and OS you use. If you are using iOS based Safari there is not a Flash plugin in iOS, and the servers are programmed with this in mind and do whatever they do. The GoApp app can be used and going this route has the server switch to a different streaming technology. I am guessing some sort of HTML5 code.

Basically you have to do it the way it was meant to be done, which is use the special app in the AppStore. One of the problems.in my view, of a walled garden. The positive is that security is higher if that is a concern.

Actually I was using the Go App app on both my phone and iPad. It's strange to me because I can still listen to around the mountain, just not the game cast.

I did not try the iPad. I was watching the Volleyball on my desktop, while ESPN2 was on the TV, and my wife's iPad was used for Gameday Chat. So I can't offer any perspective on this. My suggestion is to write a ticket, or email David Jackson directly. I have had the AppStateTV subscription going back to JumpTV days. DJ will respond and after the problems with the practice reports he tweaked a few things on their end and the complaints went away. I assume because the problem was solved and not that everyone gave up caring.

TL;DR Write a ticket.

I listened to both pre-game and halftime shows with no problems. Was able to
Listen to start of 2nd half but turned the TV commentary back on as the two feeds were not synched up.

I did however submit a ticket because the "listen" button is not very clear. It is hidden in black font on a black background. All that is currently visible is a faint outline of the word "listen". It is just below the picture of the current broadcast slightly left of center.

I would think that would be a fairly easy fix. The NeuLion app is the same for all the schools that use it I imagine with tweaks for logo and school colors.

I listen on the iPhone app with no problem, and while it took be a bit of work to figure out, if I paused the DVR for 22 seconds, the radio feed would sync perfectly to the TV.

I'm not in the technical world you are guys are in :?
my question is --- Does anyone know how to sync the tv broadcast with the on-line radio broadcast by David and Steve? --- the on-line audio was about 10 seconds ahead of the video Saturday and I just can't deal with that --- I usually watch most sporting events with the sound off because of the announcers but I love listening to David and Steve --- Any suggestions??? - thanks ---

Typically I do, but had a rather unique set-up this weekend and was only using a standard HD box and not my DVR. By the time I thought about it, the game was kicking off and I wasn't going to fix during the game.

If live radio (not online) is ahead of TV, not much you can do there. On the iPhone/other Apps there is no option to change where you are in the broadcast. If listening through the computer, you may be able to pause the radio feed or back up 30 seconds - This would be the only option - but it has been a while since I have logged in through the trusty laptop, so do not recall if this is even possible.

I read something last week that Tunein Radio had a deal with IMG to feature games on its app, but I forgot to try it Saturday.

But, when I searched Appalachian State, I found a listing for the Campbell game. I'm going to give that a shot on Saturday because I won't be able to make it to the game.

Tunein Radio is an app you can download on your phone to listen to radio stations (kind of like iHeartRadio). I hope to hear more about this, because I've found it difficult to get the radio call from my phone in the past.
