Segment titled "Michigan's worst moment"

It's still all about the losers

I hated the segment. Instead of concentrating on on the fact that our players and coaching staff went into the Big House expecting to win, they cherry picked comments from our players like "D1 rejects."

It's about humiliating Michigan, not the accomplishment of a mid major program.

Discussed their draft picks, but not our 6 or 7. Oh well, we know the truth.

"Julian flips houses, Kevin works for a Nascar pit crew."

They made an effort to spin it to their "these are nobodies that beat Michigan" narrative.

In the next mention Herbsteit said he felt sorry for us and laughed.

An infuriating lack of respect and a concerted effort to deny reality.

If App pulls it off again, I will email Herbstreit the biggest, foulest-mouthed email of them all. What a prick he is! Let's go Mountaineers and beat Michigan again!!!

It's not like Henne, Hart, Long and Manningham have lit the NFL on fire. Total bush job by ESPN. I AM PROUD of guys like Rauch and Kevin Richardson. They earn money and pay taxes and keep their noses clean. Regular Americans and nothing wrong with that.

App State Sports tweeted something a week ago about GameDay filming on campus, and I didn't see anything from campus on that last segment. Is there another one coming?

Facts that Herbstreit doesn't like. App is 1-1 vs Michigan. He was 0-4-1 against UM his 5 seasons at Ohio State. Deal with it Herbie! Go Apps!

Herbstreit was John Cooper's 1st commit when Cooper was hired by OSU in December 1987. OSU lost to UM 34-31 in 1988, 28-18 in 1989, 16-13 in 1990, and 31-3 in 1991. Herbstreit, his lone year as starting QB, eeked out a 13-13 tie in 1992.

Unfortunately this is kind of a fact of life with national media. The top talking heads basically focus nearly all of their attention on the top 15-20 teams, and really aren't very knowledgeable about anyone else. I guess they justify that lack of knowledge by belittling those teams and schools, as if, "Why would anyone bother to pay attention to them anyway?"
