We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Not many surprises, but the "stripe" game is a little different. Black Saturday against UL-M.

With ESPN calling the shots on game times I would assume the usual 3:30 start time is history. I would expect more Noon or 6PM start times. Not that its a problem for me but I imagine the Noon start times may cause some agnst for tailgaters.

The 12 day rule hasn't stopped most other SBC teams from announcing kickoff times.

I'm thankful we're only two hours away from Boone. The various start times give us more choices for tailgate fare. The way I figure it, any football game in Boone any time of any day is as good as this life has to offer.

Are artificial noise makers prohibited by the SB?

More cowbell?!?

Maybe the can hand out a few thousand mini megaphones instead of the thunder sticks.

App State students are asked to wear white -- the first 4,000 students in attendance will receive a free commemorative white t-shirt.
Not to exaggerate but why in the name of all that is holy would App State want students in white????? 100% of the time our football team wears black (really 99% of the time) or gold.

Sports marketing did this for basketball last year with a "white out" and it was painfully awkward as our school colors do not account for white (not to mention we currently have an abysmal student section in basketball). While many schools or sports teams would fare well with having a "white out" - we are App State.

Am I going crazy here? How is this a good idea? Have them wear all gold since we already have Black Saturday.

How is that? I understood that App would be having to wait to announce kickoff times, but I don't get why others wouldn't too. Are they just tentative times that could get moved if the game is picked up for TV?
